Sophie Miklosovic trained at The Art of Classical Ballet under Magaly Suarez. She joined BalletMet in the 2017-18 Season, at age 17, and is grateful to have performed iconic roles such as Juliet in Romeo & Juliet; Clara in The Nutcracker; Peasant Pas & Zulma in Giselle; and contemporary ballets by Liang, Balanchine, and Robbins. Sophie's honors include the Gold Medal at the 2017 World Ballet Competition in Orlando, Gold Medal at the 2015 Cuba IBC, the Morning Star Foundation Award at the 2017 China IBC, and named a Zarelywear “Rising Star”. Most recently, she was named to Dance Magazine's Top 25 "Artists to Watch" list.
