Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Daniel Randall Durrett trained at Uptown Arts and continued his training with the academy of Cincinnati Ballet through an invitation from Artistic Director, Victoria Morgan, who offered him a full scholarship. In 2013, Durrett was invited to join Houston Ballet II (Houston Ballet’s second company) and was promoted to Apprentice in 2015. He joined the Boston Ballet in 2017 as an artist. Durrett's honors include the gold medal at the Indianapolis International Ballet Competition. His repertoire includes Ben Stevenson's Sleeping Beauty, Ma Cong's Calling, Stanton Welch's Brigade, and the principal role in George Balanchine's Allegro Brillante.
