Originally of Medfield, Massachusetts, Melissa Chapski studied at the Ellison Ballet Professional Training Program in New York City under Edward Ellison and Erin Forrest. She is now based in Amsterdam since joining the Dutch National Ballet in 2015. Her honors include the Gold Medal at the 2015 Indianapolis International Ballet Competition and Gold Medal at the Youth America Grand Prix. She has also modeled for several dancewear companies and been featured in magazines such as French Vogue, Ocean Blue, and Dance Spirit.
