Sally Turkel trained at the Cary Ballet Conservatory and University of North Carolina School of the Arts. After performing with Houston Ballet, Carolina Ballet, and Stiefel and Stars, Turkel joined Colorado Ballet in 2008. Turkel joined Ballet San Antonio as a soloist in 2013 and was promoted to principal dancer in 2014. Turkel has had the honor of dancing at the Vail International Dance Festival, the Dance Presenters Conference at City Center in New York, the Martha’s Vineyard Arts Project, and the Hollywood Bowl.
